1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms and Conditions form an agreement between you and Piranti Persada (“Tautan,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) for your use of the Tautan Android application, this website, and related account and synchronization services.

By creating an account, accessing, or using Tautan, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Mandatory rights available to you under applicable law are not limited by these terms.

2. Who may use Tautan

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you are below the age at which you can consent to an online service where you live, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use and accept these terms for you.

If you use Tautan for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.

3. Your account

Provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably current. You are responsible for protecting your password, email account, device, and active sessions, and for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Tell us promptly at tautan@piranti-persada.id if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may ask you to verify account ownership before changing access or responding to an account request.

4. How Tautan works

Tautan lets you save, organize, search, preview, and open links. It keeps an offline copy of your library on your device and can synchronize eligible changes with your account when a connection is available.

Offline and server copies update asynchronously. A change or deletion may remain pending until connectivity returns and the server confirms it. Signing out does not necessarily erase local data from the device. You are responsible for clearing app data when giving away or sharing a device.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the URLs, titles, notes, tags, collection names, and other material you add to Tautan. You give us a limited permission to host, copy, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, synchronize, and support the service.

You are responsible for what you save or submit and for having any rights or permissions needed to do so. Saving a link in Tautan does not give you ownership of the linked page or permission to copy or redistribute its contents.

6. Acceptable use

Please use Tautan lawfully and with respect for other people. Only save or share material that you are allowed to use, and do not use the service for fraud, spam, harassment, abuse, or anything that violates another person's rights.

Do not try to enter someone else's account or any restricted system without permission. Please do not upload malware, send abusive automated traffic, overload the service, or do anything intended to disrupt Tautan or weaken its security.

You must not probe, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass Tautan's technical protections unless applicable law expressly allows you to do so. You also may not pretend to be another person or use Tautan in a way that creates an unreasonable risk for other users, our providers, the public, or the service itself.

If we reasonably believe Tautan is being misused, we may investigate and take proportionate steps to protect the service. This can include temporarily limiting access or preserving relevant records when the law allows it.

7. Third-party content and services

Tautan can receive links through Android's share sheet, retrieve public preview information, and open third-party websites or apps. We do not control or endorse those destinations and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, purchases, or privacy practices.

Google sign-in, Google Play, AdMob, device services, and other third-party features may be governed by their own terms. Open-source components included in Tautan remain subject to their applicable licenses.

8. Advertising

Tautan may display banner and native advertising supplied by Google AdMob and its partners. Advertising helps support the service. Ad selection and measurement may depend on your region, consent choices, device settings, and Google's configuration, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

An advertisement is not our endorsement of the advertiser or its products. Any transaction with an advertiser is between you and that advertiser.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Tautan dependable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Connectivity, device behavior, maintenance, provider outages, security incidents, or circumstances outside our control may affect the service.

We may add, change, limit, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. If a change materially reduces an important feature, we will provide reasonable notice when practical. Tautan is currently offered without a subscription fee; any future paid feature will be presented with its price and applicable terms before you choose it.

10. Our intellectual property

Except for your content, third-party content, and open-source components, Tautan and its software, design, branding, text, graphics, and other materials belong to Piranti Persada or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

We give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Tautan for its intended purpose while these terms apply. This does not transfer ownership or permit you to sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service.

11. Feedback and suggestions

You may send ideas, bug reports, or suggestions voluntarily. You allow us to use that feedback to evaluate and improve Tautan without payment or an obligation to implement it. Do not include confidential information or material you do not have permission to share.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Tautan at any time and may request account deletion by emailing tautan@piranti-persada.id. Removing the app does not by itself delete synchronized account data, and deleting an account may not automatically remove local data from every device.

We may restrict or end access if you materially or repeatedly violate these terms, create a security or legal risk, or if operating the service is no longer reasonably possible. When appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Provisions that by their nature should continue—such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability—survive termination.

13. Disclaimers

Tautan is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Link previews can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect, and linked content can change or disappear. Tautan is a convenience tool, not a permanent archive or backup service. Keep independent copies of information that is important to you.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Piranti Persada and its personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or opportunities arising from your use of Tautan.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability relating to Tautan will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the concern informally.

If a dispute cannot be resolved, it may be brought before a court with jurisdiction in Indonesia, unless mandatory law gives you the right to use another court or dispute process. Nothing in these terms removes consumer protections that apply to you.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when Tautan, our business, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised terms here and update the date above. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide additional notice when reasonably practical.

Your continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept them. If you do not agree to a material change, you should stop using Tautan and may request account deletion.
